A reminder regarding Canadian federal legislation change and enforcement as outlined in the Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Concentration Limits for Architectural Coatings Regulations.

Traffic marking coatings are one of many areas being affected by the above legislation that ensures the line painting industry does its’ part in decreasing VOC emission levels.

As of Oct 15, 2010 prohibition applies to the use of traffic marking coatings with VOC concentrations greater than 150 g/L, for application from May 1 to October 15 inclusive.
